Mamaw (Cindy)

Cindy, affectionately known as Mamaw, has a life steeped in the warmth of family and the rich traditions of home-cooked meals. Growing up in sunny Florida, Cindy spent countless hours in the kitchen with her mother and grandmothers, who instilled in her a deep love for cooking. These early lessons not only fueled her passion for food but also became the foundation for the personal family recipes she has lovingly passed down to her own children.

Cindy's life took a new turn when she met Jack. Their connection was immediate, and it was soon clear that they were meant to build a future together. Before moving to Nebraska to marry Jack, Cindy made the heartfelt decision to retire from her family’s business in Lake Wales, Florida, where she had devoted 34 years of her life. This move marked the beginning of a new chapter, filled with new adventures and shared dreams.

Cindy’s greatest joy comes from her family—her two sons, two stepdaughters, and five cherished grandkids, along with her three grand fur babies. Recently, she and Jack decided to relocate to Crossville, Tennessee, to be closer to their younger grandchildren and continue creating even more treasured memories.

Cindy’s kitchen has always been the heart of her home, a place where love, comfort, and warmth are shared through every meal. Whether she’s recreating a beloved family dish or experimenting with new flavors, Cindy’s culinary creations are always made with care and love. She believes that the kitchen is more than just a place to cook; it’s where stories are told, traditions are kept alive, and bonds are strengthened.

For Cindy, being Mamaw is about more than just being a grandmother—it’s about preserving a legacy of love, family, and the joy of sharing a meal together, one recipe at a time.

Pappy(Jack) – The Man Behind the Grill & the Adventure!

If you’ve ever wondered who Jack is in the Mamaw’s Mixes family, let us tell you—he’s the one who keeps things interesting! Known to his grandkids as Pappy, Jack’s journey has been full of excitement and passion.

Jack spent years as an avid bull rider and cowboy, carving out a life in the rodeo scene. His career then took him to the world of cattle buying, where he worked for 44 years, making a name for himself in the livestock industry. Jack also ranched his own cattle and had his own bucking bulls that made it to the PBR (Professional Bull Riders).

But if you really want to get Jack talking, mention Nebraska Cornhusker Football! He’s a die-hard fan, and he’s always ready to discuss his team. When he’s not cheering on the Cornhuskers, Jack enjoys hitting golf balls whenever he gets the chance—or whenever Mamaw allows it!

Jack has also embraced his role as Mamaw’s official taste tester, especially when it comes to dessert mixes. But his true expertise lies in the world of BBQ seasonings. He’s always experimenting with new ways to fire up the grill, making sure everything gets his stamp of approval before it reaches your table.

After finding success with Mamaw’s Mixes in Nebraska, Jack and Cindy decided to move to Tennessee to be closer to their younger grandkids. Jack is right there beside Cindy, helping at every event and working together to grow Mamaw’s Mixes while sharing the love of great flavors with all of you.

So, next time you grab a seasoning or dip mix, know that a cowboy, grill master, and Cornhusker fan is working alongside Mamaw to ensure it’s the best it can be.

Florida

Chad & Beau

Born and raised in Florida, Chad has always been driven by passion, hard work, and a heart for helping others. Following in his father’s footsteps, he began his career with Polk County EMS, which later merged into Polk County Fire Rescue (PCFR). Chad truly loved his career and poured everything into it, serving not just as a Field Training Officer but also as a new hire instructor, shaping the next generation of first responders.

As much as Chad loved the job, the years of service took their toll. After battling health challenges and experiencing an off-duty accident, his career with PCFR came to an unexpected end. It was a tough chapter, but his health was the priority. Over time, he focused on getting healthier and continues to work toward being the best version of himself.

Through encouragement from some amazing souls, Chad made the decision to go back to school—a challenge he met head-on. With dedication and hard work, he earned his bachelor’s degree in business from Polk State College, graduating with honors. This achievement marked a new beginning, opening doors he never expected.

Chad has been instrumental in the growth and success of Mamaw’s Mixes. He’s the mastermind behind the website, the one handling all the day-to-day operations, and the reason orders are packed and shipped as fast as possible. Now, he’s expanding his role even further, bringing Mamaw’s Mixes to the Florida event scene.

By Chad’s side through it all is his best friend, Beau. You could say Beau has become the unofficial mascot of Mamaw’s Mixes, always along for the ride and keeping Chad on his toes. Whether they’re out traveling, hiking trails, or simply enjoying the day, the bond between them is something special.

When Chad isn’t working on Mamaw’s Mixes, you’ll find him exploring new places, hiking with Beau, and spending time with family—especially his two nephews in North Carolina, who mean the world to him. He also has a knack for getting creative in the kitchen, constantly experimenting with new ways to use Mamaw’s Mixes.

Chad’s journey is one of resilience, faith, and new beginnings. He’s proof that when one door closes, another opens—even if it leads to a world of seasonings, dips, and endless possibilities.
